Tanzania Revenue Authority Morogoro Region, on 29/04/2026, provided tax education to students from Tax Clubs at Mji Mpya, Tushikamane, and Bungoni Secondary Schools located in Morogoro District.

 

Tax Officer Mr. Zephania Mange, CPA Alex Mwambenja, and CPA Jewel Mosha, in collaboration with Ms. Immaculate Chaggu, Taxpayer Education Officer for Morogoro Region, jointly encouraged students to actively participate in Tax Club activities in order to learn about tax matters and become good and trustworthy ambassadors within the community, particularly by demanding receipts for every purchase they make.

 

In addition, gifts were presented to the Heads of Schools and teachers supervising the Tax Clubs to support the management and development of club activities within the schools.

 

The objective of the activity was to strengthen cooperation and participation between TRA and school Tax Clubs, while also increasing students’ understanding of tax-related matters.
