The motor vehicle licence fee is charged on first registration of a motor vehicle are based on the size of the engine as shown in the table below:
This fee shall not apply to Motorcycle or a tricycle commonly known as Bajaji

Motor vehicle transfer tax is payable when a vehicle changes ownership from one person to another. Tax on transfer is payable by the transferee and Stamp Duty on the sale of asset is paid by the seller. The taxes are paid through the bank.
